Introduction:

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor fluent in both English and Mandarin, with a master's degree in counselling from City University of Seattle, Vancouver, I bring over a decade of experience in supporting individuals and families.

With more than seven years of specialized focus on divorced and separated families, I have developed a deep understanding of the dynamics, special needs, and challenges that arise in these situations.

Children may develop various cognitive distortions when experiencing changes in their parents' relationship. When coupled with the environmental adjustments of living separately from their parents, this can easily lead to psychological challenges during these critical periods. I have extensive experience in helping children navigate these transitions smoothly and effectively.

Additionally, as an immigrant to Canada over twenty years ago, I have personal insight into the unique experiences faced by immigrant families.

My approach is characterized by warmth and empathy. I guide children, couples, and families through difficult times, helping them find clarity and enhancing their quality of life.

In my practice, I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment where clients can explore their experiences, leading to increased self-awareness, empowerment, and positive change.

As a collaborative child professional with specialized training in play therapy, EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), and other modalities, I have a deep understanding of the impact family breakdowns can have on children. I am dedicated to helping children navigate these transitions with compassion and understanding.
