Introduction:

I am a family lawyer, accredited mediator, and certified collaborative divorce practitioner. 

I recognize that divorce is one of the most stressful life events and am committed to helping my clients through the process with compassion and care. I am dedicated to resolving family law matters outside of court whenever possible and believe that the collaborative process offers the healthiest and most child-centred approach to divorce for families. Major life transitions are often accompanied by feelings of helplessness, including loss of control and fear of the unknown. I am passionate about the collaborative process because it empowers clients by allowing them to be active in making decisions about what their future will look like. 

I have a background in psychology and completed my law degree at the University of Toronto. I was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011 after articling at a national law firm in Toronto. I later practiced family law and served as duty counsel at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. In 2017, I qualified as a lawyer in Australia where I worked in the media industry on high profile negotiations between major newspaper publications and complainants. 

My family and I finally made beautiful Vancouver our home in December 2018. I joined Crossroads Law in 2019 where I have continued working in family law, but also developed a fertility law practice. Please contact me for a free consultation and to learn more about the collaborative process.
