Introduction:

My goal is to help ease the stress as you go through life's major transitions, be they planned ones like retirement or unplanned ones like separation and divorce. 

When my marriage ended in 2007, I was a stay-at-home mom with 3 young boys and had $1000 in my own bank account. I had never felt so lost or felt so alone. As I was walking on quicksand, I knew I needed to figure out who I was going to be while keeping my kids' emotional stability as my primary goal. I became a Certified Financial Planner so that I could get on top of my own finances and help others with theirs. 

The pieces of my "Why" really came together when I started being part of the Collaborative Divorce community as a Financial Divorce Specialist. My greatest wish in doing this work is for no child to become collateral damage in their parents' divorce. Kids should be allowed to be kids, and grow up to be the best they were meant to be. They should be loved by and be loving to both parents. 

When a client chooses to work with me as a Certified Financial Planner for retirement income planning, they get a financial strategist who is there for the long haul. I start with learning about what's important to you now and for the future. We then partner together to come up with a plan so you can live your life aligned to your values and what matters most to you. 

I strive to balance feeding my heart (spending time with people I love), feeding my soul (doing the work I love) and feeding my brain (perpetual learning).
