Family Lawyer
Early in my practice, I realized the value and importance of providing families out of court solutions. My commitment to finding solutions for families led me to obtain my collaborative and family mediation qualifications. Recognizing the high stress environment that a separation has on families in BC, it has been important for me to advocate for resolutions that are tailor made for each unique family. Often separating families feel overwhelmed or there is mistrust between the parties that makes the process more difficult, the collaborative model aims to reduce those issues. Too often I have clients who cannot afford litigation or may not qualify for legal assistance, the collaborative model creates a process that families can choose opposed to traditional models. I firmly believe resolutions should be guided by individuals rather than a court and in practicing collaboratively we are able to assist families in achieving this goal. I am providing collaborative family law services to families in the Lower Mainland in both English and Punjabi.
